Summer Solstice FAQ’s
Q. Can I use two different credit cards to pay for my registration?
R. No, the registration system does not offer the option to do this. You can however, register on one card, finish the transaction and then go back into your registration record and add on with a different card. For example, if you want to pay for your registration with your personal credit card but want to put your bazaar table on a business one, you would register on your personal, complete registration and then go back into your record and add in the bazaar table using your business card.
Q. Can I make arrangements for my special dietary needs?
R. We do not have the kitchen capacity to be able to assist with special needs diets. You are welcome to bring your own non-refrigerated food items.
Q. If I come to one day of White Tantric Yoga can I sign my child up for children’s camp for the day?
R. Yes you can, please register on-line under the ‘Families with Children’ registration type and go to Youth Programs web page for information and forms you will need to fill out and bring.
Q. What’s the difference between a Morgan Cabin and an Adobe Cabin?
R. Morgan cabins have cots in them and there are only 4 people to a cabin. They are designated for seniors and special needs attendees. Adobe cabins are open to everyone, except for bottom bunks in certain cabins that are reserved for seniors (55+) and participants with disabilities. There is an application that must be filled out in order to receive a code that must be used to reserve a space. See more information and applications at the Travel & Stay web page
Q. What are the policies for renting an RV space or for tent trailers?
R. These spaces are reserved for seniors 55+, and special needs attendees. You must apply for a space via the web. Click here for more info and application. Your application will be sent to the registration department for approval and you will be emailed a code.
Q. Do I have to have my badge with me at all times?
R. You do need to have your badge with you because there are areas at the Solstice event where you may not be able to gain access without it.
Q. Where do I go if I am having problems adjusting to the altitude or diet?
R. Head straight to the First Aid building.
Q. Is Financial Aid available?
R. Yes. If you meet the criteria for consideration you may apply for Financial Aid. Click here to review criteria and to apply.
Q. Can I apply for Service Exchange if my children are going to be at the event with me?
R. If your children are over the age of 18, you are eligible for Service Exchange. If your children are under the age of 18, you must have a partner or significant other over the age of 25 attending the event with you who will be responsible for the care of your children to be considered for Service Exchange. In some cases, individuals with children may apply for an Exchange in the Solstice Youth Camp area.
Q. Can I come before the event begins and/or stay after it is over?
R. You cannot stay on site prior to or after the event is closed, but you can find accommodations at motels in the area. Click here for off-site accommodations nearby.
Q. Does 3HO make the arrangement for attendee travel?
R. No. Attendees are responsible for negotiating their arrangements. 3HO has contracted with shuttle services for transportation to and from the Albuquerque airport for Solstice attendees; however all attendees must make their own reservations for this service.
