How Much “Other” Can We Recognize? ~ Awtar Kaur Khalsa, CA (L/D) Water Tent
Can our Kundalini Yoga Community be more inclusive of diversity? The first generation to sit at Yogi Bhajan’s feet maintains a powerful culture. How can our community include new generations, diverse in age, nationality, ethnicity, religion, ability, and gender identity? This workshop invites all generations to explore how to cultivate full participation and leadership. We strive to suspend/explore judgments and biases that affect us and fellow yogis. Includes the Kriya for Nerve, Navel and Lower Spine Strength.

Awtar Kaur has practiced Kundalini Yoga since 1972. She lives in San Francisco with her family and half-a-dozen other ashram members. Satyajeet Kaur teaches Kundalini Yoga to adults and children, and facilitates conversations around cultural awareness and social justice. She is passionate about creating safe spaces for all folks to practice yoga.
