Quenching the Fires of Anger ~ Jai Gopal S. Khalsa, CA (KY) Water Tent
Anger begins with a thought. Through greater awareness and higher energy we can recognize that the subject of our anger, the other person, is really ourselves in disguise. In this workshop we will explore how the mind takes us to anger. Then using sacred, ancient, Kundalini Yoga kriyas and meditations we will experience how we can root out the sources of this anger and bring it under our conscious control.
Jai Gopal is an IKYTA Certified Kundalini Yoga instructor. As a West Point graduate and former army officer, Jai Gopal has an extensive background in physical fitness, as well as team sports and martial arts. He found yoga as a form of a physical therapy after a mountain biking injury left him unable to do normal weight lifting and running. The balanced mix of exercise and relaxation immediately attracted Jai Gopal to Yoga. After practicing many different types of yoga, he found Kundalini Yoga and was immediately drawn in by the power of the practice. Since that time he has studied with master teacher trainers Harijiwan, Tej Kaur and Gurmukh at Goldenbridge. Shortly after completing the teacher’s training, he began teaching Kundalini Yoga and developed the first 40-day kundalini boot camp, which takes students through 40 consecutive days of Kundalini Yoga and meditation, to magnify the student’s intention and make lasting change. Jai Gopal’s classes are lighthearted and fun, yet focused and deeply relaxing.
