The Lunar Woman, Solar Man and Sacred Sexuality ~ Shakta Kaur, Chicago, IL and Hari Charn Kaur, NM (Women) Water Tent Woman is the moon. She waxes and wanes. Man is the sun. He is continuous and constant. Everything is conceived because of these two polarities of male and female, sun and moon. Come learn how to infuse your sexual relationship with sacredness by harmonizing the interplay of sun and moon, male and female. Appropriate for hetero or same sex singles/couples. (You don’t have to be in a sexual relationship for this session to be helpful.)
Shakta Kaur co-owns Kundalini Yoga in the Loop (KYL) in downtown Chicago with her husband, Hari Dev Singh (www.shaktakaur.com; 312-922-4699). She travels and teaches extensively in both the US and internationally. She teaches Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, Breathwalk® and Level 1 Teacher Training courses in the US and internationally. From 2004-2008 Shakta represented KRI on the Board of Directors of Yoga Alliance (YA) in the capacities of Secretary and Chair of the Board. She also served as YA’s Interim CEO for eight months. Shakta also co-teaches the popular tele-class series, ‘The Business of Yoga’ once each year. She also leads yatras to India where she teaches Kundalini Yoga and Meditation at the Punarnava Ayurveda and Yoga Conference. Shakta’s next yatra to India is scheduled for February 2013. Shakta’s previous DVD, ‘The Lunar Woman,’ was well-received and was the inspiration for her latest, ‘The Invincible Woman.’ A recognized expert in the field of U.S. franchising, she founded Women in Franchising, Inc. (WIF) in 1987 and the American Franchisee Association (AFA), a 501(c)6 non-profit, in 1993.
