Finding God’s Grace and Power in Everyday Practice: The Kara ~ Dr. Sham-Rang Singh Khalsa, MA (Dharma) Earth Tent The kara, the Sikh steel bracelet, is an unbreakable chain link to God—an eternal and unbroken circle. How do we move from committed spiritual practice as an expression of discipline to one of love? Our greatest strength of steel arises when it no longer requires manipulation and force, but simply arises from the power of our true nature. Class includes inspirational information and experiential meditation to help explore the connections amongst discipline, commitment, habit, love, and grace.
Dr. Sham Rang Singh Khalsa, a student of Yogi Bhajan for 35 years, is a medical doctor also trained in Ayurveda and Japanese acupuncture. A minister of the Sikh religion, he has served for many years as Guru Granthi for the Sikh Gurdwara in Millis, Massachusetts. After 26 years of medical practice, now he is focusing on teaching Kundalini Yoga, meditation and well-being.
