Applicants selected to serve on this team are offered a special registration rate due to the additional commitment that this team's responsibilities require. Together participation on this team will provide a vital service for our community.
Grounds Crew helps with facility upkeep and maintenance. Grounds includes straightening up and maintaining showers, doing maintenance work such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky taps, securing classroom tents in wind and rain situations, and helping to move tables and stages when needed. Working on the Grounds Crew means being energetically available and effective at accomplishing the tasks required to set up the camp and to keep the camp moving in a smooth and healthy way. We keep the basics of camp up and running so that our community can have a "grounded" experience. Grounds Crew requires a humble and serviceful attitude.
- You must be available for the entire duration of the exchange.
- Prepare to serve approximately 6 hours per day.
- Arrive on Monday June 15th by 6pm.
- Ready to start working in the morning on Tuesday June 16th.
- Serve until 3pm on Saturday June 27th.
**Beginning with Summer Solstice 2019, the Saints of the Porcelain Bowl will be their own team, separate from Grounds. If you are interested in applying for this team, which is mainly responsible for cleaning restrooms and portables, please scroll down to their area. The Saints team is a regularly-priced team, not discounted to the special registration rate Grounds received.**
