Service Project Name:  Welcome Home to Maia Earth Village
Area of Impact: 1. The children of the surrounding community, and national and international guests of our retreat center, Bhaya Kalipay.
Maia is a quiet intuitive eco-village nestled in the countryside of Palawan Island of the Philippines.  We are off the grid living in solar paneled mud houses, eating mostly coconuts and raw foods. “In our sacred simplicity, everything we need is right here."  We offer Kundalini Yoga to our guests and the children and the adults of the village.  With this grant we would 1. Support the local children and their parents by paying their educational fees for one year
2. Begin a Summer Enrichment program that would empower the local children to use their resources wisely and create environmental friendly art products that can be sold at the Sinag Earth store in the retreat center in the city.
3. Purchase more yoga mats for the quickly growing yoga class.  Thank you in advance for watching!
