The Kitchen Transition Team is responsible for cooking meals and taking care of kitchen needs before camp officially starts and as camp is closing. Duties include: cooking meals, making tea, serving meals, cleaning after meals are served and inventory support. Before camp starts we have a couple of hundred service exchange participants who arrive in order to get ready for the event. We need dedicated kitchen team members to hit the ground running and cook and serve for all these folks. Team members will be expected to arrive early and set up their campsites, then get right into the kitchen and start cooking! At the end of camp the Kitchen Transition Team will be expected to stay late and make sure breakfast and lunch are taken care of on the last Saturday of camp  (Departure Day) and ensure that the kitchen is clean and ready for the next events to begin. 

The Kitchen Transition Team also has the responsibility of sweeping the Tantric Shelter nightly during the Solstice Sadhana Event.
