Recently 3HO Foundation International received a beautiful gift from two Kundalini Yogis in Xi An, China. Siri Ongkar Kaur wanted to express her appreciation for Kundalini Yoga and the teachings of Yogi Bhajan, which have helped her serve the mission of universal peace.

She has been serving prisoners in Xi An for the last fourteen years, participating in the rehabilitation of those under 18 years old, and those with drug addiction. She has come to be known as, "The Mom outside the high wall." She feels it is her mission to help these suffering souls to be free.

Three years ago, Siri Ongkar met Li Lu Ling. Li Lu Ling had struggled with drug addiction for twenty years, and had been in and out of prison many times. Siri Ongkar taught her how to paint with Chinese Calligraphy. Li Lu Ling found herself in a deep meditative state of mind that helped to heal and transform her. This healing process went even deeper and faster when Siri Ongkar Kaur practiced Kundalini Yoga with her.

One day the story of Sakyamuni Buddha teaching in the Jetavana vihara (a Buddhist monastery) came to Li Lu Ling. She then spent 16 hours every day for over a month to finish this beautifully illustrated scroll.

The translation of the scroll reads:

“Peace to the world,

peace to the Universe,

the Infinite heart of humanity.”
